Hi There!

Hello my name is Roderick and I am a student in high school. As a high school student I take a great interest in Music and what all kinds of new music there are out there for me to enjoy and listen to. However it is in my great opinion, unlike many peoples, that music should be paid for. If an artist goes to all of the work of creating music simply so that you can listen to it, why do we (as a society cheat them of their rightful money)? Without people paying the music industry we would have nothing to listen to, so why exactly do people illegally download music. Illegally downloading for most people is simply done because people don't like paying for things. It is human nature to ask why you you should pay for something when you could get it for free. And the answer quite simply is ethics and morality. We as people should respect each other enough to pay each other for services that we provide, whether it be serving at a restaurant or creating music. As such this blog is going to be all about what Music Piracy is, what its implications are and why you shouldn't do it! Hopefully by the time that you finish reading this you will acknowledge the reasoning behind not downloading music illegally.

Through the next couple of pages and pictures and multimedia elements hopefully I can persuade you that downloading music illegally is not beneficial to the artist, and not even to yourself in the long run. I hope you will take the time to see it through and keep an open mind as ultimately YOU as the down loader CONTROL MUSIC PIRACY!
